This week, as promised, we start putting faces to the voices of our radio gang, starting with The Evil Ernie and Bert of Toronto Theatre: Peter Nicol (left) and Steven Burley! Twice as dangerous when they're together, they made their Decoder Ring Theatre debuts seperately, Steven as Professor Hornswaggle in Everything you always wanted to know about Shakespeare (but fell asleep in class), and Peter as Li'l Spanky McMickleson in Murder Most Deadly. Steven, of course, is our announcer for the Red Panda Adventures and both play a myriad of roles in our ensemble. In last week's Riddle of the Sphinx, Steven was also the voice of Professor Bellamy, while Peter could be heard as the lovable Doctor Chronopolis. And of course, both can be heard next week in an episode inspired by the four-colour, pulp-paper comic books that fired my young imagination.
