I'm not even going to try and explain why we call it that up here in Canada. Suffice to say, it's a long weekend and we hope you have a good one.
Well, Clarissa "The Flying Squirrel" der Nederlanden has managed to put off her cast photo again, which means you have to look at that canned ham to your left all week. Yeah, that's me... your ever lovin' writer/director/Red Panda guy. Now you know why you usually see me with the mask.
From the shameless plug department, I've been listening to a lot of shows lately and loving 'em. Regular readers of this space might remember my affection for the Cliff Proton series, but I can now really recommend the Col. Nickels series too. Genuinely bizarre and very funny (and available on CD from their site). And in Podcasts, I finally found the time for Eclipse from and I'm really glad I did. (Thanks, Dani) It's a new dramatic anthology series from the masterminds behind Schlock Audio (which itself is like Lux Radio Theatre directed by Ed Wood) but the new series really shows they can do more than just bring the funny... check it out! Oh yeah, and a multiple-wedding-enforced break in our recording session has given me time to finish mixing Black Jack Justice 14 & 16 and Red Panda Adventures 13&18 so we're well on the way. Meetcha back here next Saturday for an all-new adventure with The Red Panda and The Flying Squirrel as they challenge the villainous Electric Eel (or do they?) in - Duality! -GT
