Since The Red Panda Adventures will be making their debut this week on the Texas Radio Theatre radio program, let me welcome those of you from down south who made it to the website! And while we're welcoming folks, how about a nice round of applause for our own Jack Justice - Christopher Mott, pictured to the left. Chris is a bang-up detective all right, and thanks to all of you who responded so positively to last week's debut of Black Jack Justice - remember, don't just tell us how much you like it - tell your friends!
And while we're spreading the word, I'd like to throw in a few plugs for stuff I love and I think you will too. For starters, visit my old pal Captain Spectre, wouldya? It's a swell old-school adventure comic on the web featuring a Pulp/radio hero who suddenly turns out to be real! If you like what we're doing here, I know you'll like this too.
And then go visit Schlock Audio. They do audio theatre adaptations of the cheeziest B-Movies ever made, aided by a sultry narrator who describes every cardboard set piece and boom mic in the shot to hilarious effect. Go now. I'll wait here.
And finally, Decoder Ring Theatre was featured last week on Podpoint a swell new Podcast-about-podcasts (which hasn't quite become a genre onto itself yet, but it will!). A fun show and a great way to find yourself some new "audio addictions" (to borrow a phrase).
