13/Jul/2010 - 7/Aug/2010 : On 19th November 1954 in a tiny mews theatre in Herbert Lane, Dublin there took place the opening night of a new play that was to establish the writer as a world famous playwright and subsequently a media celebrity, before that phenomenon was invented - The Pike Theatre Club and Brendan Behan had come together. The New Theatre, Dublin presents: The Quare Fellow by Brendan Behan Directed by RONAN WILMOT From 13th July 2010 for a Limited Run @ 8pm Preview 12th July.

This Tony award winning play is set in a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, where the strong minded principal Sr. Aloysius develops concerns about a popular priest in the parish.
